Easymarkets Review – Trading Made Simple

If you are brand new to trading then you need a platform that is easy to use and offers a simple way to get involved and learn the ropes. Easymarkets lives up to its name and does just that. Before I signed up I had never traded before so was a bit apprehensive about it. I wanted to find a platform that was reliable and wasn’t going to be some sort of scam. Easymarkets have been around since 2001 and have a fantastic reputation online so after doing a bit of research I was happy to sign up with them and deposit a small amount of money. Unlike many trading sites you can deposit quite a small amount to get started. $100 is all you need to get your trading career underway. To be honest you might as well deposit a bit more because once you see how well their platform works you will be happy to stay as their customer and do all your trading through EasyMarkets.

After signing up I went on their live chat and had a chat with one of their support staff. They walked me through the basics of the site and answered all my questions and made every seem, well, easy.

The company is regulated by 2 different trading bodies. One in Australia and one in Cyprus where the company is based. Don’t let that put you off though as they have a good number of staff who speak various languages. Everyone I spoke to on the phone spoke perfect English and they were all very pleasant and helpful people. It’s clear that they value their customers.

Easy Markets have 3 support centres worldwide to make sure all their customers are catered for. They have their main centre for European customers in Cyprus. For Asia and the Pacific region they have people based in Australia and the rest of the work can contact them at their base in the Marshall Islands.

Trading Platforms

Easy Markets has 2 platforms to choose from. They have their own platform and they also offer the popular MetaTrader4 platform. The Easy Markets platform is unique in the fact that it allows you to freeze prices for a few moments to let you have a little think about the trade you are about to perform. This is brilliant if you are new to the trading game. It just gives you that little bit of breathing space to consider the viability of the trade.

The MT4 platform will be familiar to anyone who has traded before and is considered to be the industry standard platform for online traders. It comes with a wide range of tools to allow people to make the most of their trading opportunities. If you are more experienced at trading you will be at home with this platform and can get started straight away.

You also get the free use of guaranteed stop loss and dealCancellation option, which allow you to cancel losing trades and minimise losses. Again this is fantastic for anyone new to trading. You can undo losing trades for a small fee.

One of my favourite things about EasyMarkets is their smart phone app. This is a game changer, being able to trade on the go from an app is brilliant and makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable as well. The App supports all major phone operating systems including iOS, Android, Windows and Blackberry.

Account Types

Easy Markets offers a standard account with a minimum deposit for $100 and a VIP account with a minimum deposit of $2500. They also offer an Islamic account.

As well as this you can open a demo account with them and practice trading with virtual money. This lets you try out the platform and get to grips with trading without committing any real money. Perfect for newbies. Sign up for a free demo account and get practising before you get stuck in with real money. Get a demo account here.

Commission & Spreads

The spreads offered by Easymarkets are great though there are better to be had if you shop around, however other platforms will not be as easy to use or offer the dealCancellation and ability to undo losing trades. Plus by keeping spreads fixed it keeps the platform easier to use and provides more security to the user when the markets are volatile. There are no commission charges on trades here either.

Payment Methods

EasyMarkets offers various methods of payment including all major cards like VISA, Mastercard, Meastro etc. They also allow bank transfers and some e-wallets like Skrill and Neteller amongst others.

There are no minimum withdrawal amounts to e-wallets but there is a minimum withdrawl of $50 to bank withdrawls. You can withdraw commission free here, there are no hidden charges or nasty surprises when using EasyMarkets.

Conclusion

EasyMarkets is perfect for the first time trader. It’s incredibly simple to use and offers great training. They have a comprehensive training section with great guides and tutorials. Everything you need to get started is here and you will be well quipped to start making money. These features combined with their first class mobile app and the ability to undo losing trades mean EasyMarkets is probably the best platform for anyone wanting to get started with trading.
